I should say I don't hate Luna all the time or anything. There's times where I really like her. I especially like her when she unexpectedly says something snarky and on point.
You know, with the epilogue, I'll bet it's a case of people wishing they could ignore the epilogue but can't? Like I know sometimes people wish they could just forget stuff in canon but on some level they feel like it's real and so they have to unwrite it before they can write their own stuff. I wonder if that's why so many people start from that--like, they really want to re-write the epilogue so they can't forget it happened?
