I adore the public persona of some physics writers, but no idea if they're really that charming/cool in real life (prob not).

I often hang out w/ some technically "genius" ppl, (and grew up w/ some v odd family friends) and really I'm mostly thinking things like "ok you make a zillion $$ at your computer job, yet you have still to buy a pair of pants that fit properly or understand that others do not love your ignoring the conversational flow to tell your own stories. *insert diff types of intelligence here... or, alternately, that I am shallow* :DD

I agree w/ you on Holmes. Cool pt that he was drawn to see the *right* things. (One thing I find interesting about, I guess, levels of smartness/genius is that it's often marked by ppl finding certain things very easy or natural or obvious...) I think one of the cool things Doyle did bring was the structure and process and technique.

lol I have no idea about the Myers-Briggs types. I admire structure, but it's very complicated and seems both too specific and vague for my brain to wrap around it! I wanna be a type with a cool name. "Dragon Lady" "Heart-eating Lion" "Special Unicorn" "Person made of Win" "The Magician" Something cool to make up for my boring sign and chinese year.
